> Horrible company, pool is leaking, they installed an auto fill when they completed the pool so homeowner does not know that the pool is leaking, we thought the increased bills were because of the vacation rental use, but the bills just kept coming even after vacation Rental season was over, they are refusing to fix the pool, this is absolutely horrific, don’t hire this company, they will not honor a warranty. They won’t fix what they messed up and they will give you a pool that’s leaking from the start.

> We heard such good things about Cox Pools and were told they were the best. We reached out to them and had a meeting with Tom at our beach home in July of 2021. When we met, we understood that they were about 4 months behind which worked perfectly for us because we wanted the install to occur during the winter months. Tom sent us a rendering of the plot and drawing the first of August 2021. We responded and approved the drawing and placement of the pool on the lot that day and sent Tom an email that we were ready to proceed and sign the contract. Several weeks passed with no response, I called the office and spoke with Pam. She advised that Tom was on vacation, and she would leave a message for him to call when he returned. Several weeks later, I texted Tom's cell and left him a voicemail. Still no response. I called the office several times in October of 2021. On November 24th, I again called the office and spoke with Pam. She stated that she would leave a message for Tom to call me and told me to call his cell number. She verified that I had the correct number. I called and left a voicemail for Tom that day as well as sent him a text. As of today 02/07/22, I have not heard a word from anyone at Cox Pools. If they did not want to install the pool or couldn't for whatever reason, it would take maybe a minute to send me an email, text message, or call. The lack of Customer Service from a company so highly recommended is disappointing.

> Definitely would not recommend Cox Pools. We signed the contract for our pool in March we are now into July with no true end in site! It took them a month to even start the project and it kept the same slow progress from there. Our sales rep is extremely unresponsive and when he gives us a date, it’s either the following week or not at all! We reached out to the sales manager who gave us a long list of excuses and let us know that there were a lot of people worse off than us! Based on our experience, I can only imagine how frustrated those customers are! When there is work being done, the treat our property like a trash dump by leaving their used cups/bottles scattered everywhere! Cox really needs to remove their advertised 8-10 weeks, because that is significantly far from the truth! The only quick action by Cox is taking your money when it’s due!

**★★★★ — Patricia Ault, Sept. 2018**

> We loved working with Cox Pools. Though we hired them at the peak of the season, they still tried to complete the pool within the original time lines. I especially loved the design process; Landon made every effort to adapt the pool design to our needs and home and lot.

**Comment from Cox Pools:**

> Patricia, We appreciate you choosing Cox Pools and we are happy to hear you had a excellent experience with us.

**★★★★ — Meg van Ligten, Sept. 2018**

> The team was very professional and courteous.
> Other than taking longer than they said, everything else was completed as promised.

**Comment from Cox Pools:**

> Meg, Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review! We apologize for any extra time needed on the project but we are happy to hear it was overall a pleasant experience.

**★ — Ana Santamaria, Aug. 2018**

> Cox Pools installed a pool for us a couple of months ago and the process was not pleasant. It took longer than should have been and that they predicted. We would be working at the house for weeks without seeing anybody there working. And communication with them was not satisfactory either. Everytime I complained, they reminded me how many pools they build; they didn't care I was upset or worried at all.
> But, not only the process wasn't pleasant, their customer service afterwards is even worse! I have been on a waiting list to fix my chlorinator for 3 weeks! Everytime I call, they say iI have a ticket on the list and it should take a couple of days but nothing. I was also told they had to print my ticket twice because the technicians might have missed it. Meanwhile, the choline in my pool is still not working.
> Think twice when hiring them. It will take you double what they predict to get your pool installed, and it will take you forever to get their help.

**★★★★★ — Alan D. Holt, A.S.L.A., Landscape Architect, Jan. 2018**

> Cox Pools has done a great job implementing my designs since 2000 when we did one of the first infinity pools in the area. They have always been responsive, easy to work with and patient with my numerous questions. We have worked together on over 100 pools, including my personal pool, and I have been more than happy with each one.

**★ — Lynne Hess, May 2017**

> We have a 20 year UNCONDITIONAL warranty against cracks to the unite shell. In 2015 the shell started cracking. Cox refuses to stand behind their warranty. They refuse to return phone calls or even discuss the problem. Terrible customer service. BUYER BEWARE!

**Comment from Cox Pools:**

> Lynne,
>
> If you believe our conversation with you in 2015 is incorrect, please locate your copy of the original warranty please bring it by or scan and email it.

**★★★★★ — Auburn Builders LLC, Dec. 2016**

> Auburn has been working with Cox Pools for years. We have done commercial pools, residential pools together and will be continuing that relationship in the Future. The latest project is a residential pool on the Destin Harbor that is north of $180,000. Ian, Neil, Jeff, Kaye and all of the Cox crew is a pleasure to work with. Thanks to All - Harper

**★★★★★ — Karen, March 2016**

> Cox pools built us a beautiful pool which surpassed our expectations. Daniel Fields, our salesperson was courteous in answering all our questions and quoted us six pools! Also, thanking Ian ,Jimbo, and their hardworking employees. They always get back to us on our questions and guarantee their product.

**Comment from Cox Pools:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words! We hope you make many memories with your family by your gorgeous pool! Happy Swimming!

**★ — Karrie Shackleford, Sept. 2015**

> I purchased a pool from this company in 2013, it was delivered in 2014 after many months of delay. Now 16 months after my pool was completed the decking lifted from the actual structure. The company refuses to repair the decking because it is a couple of months out of warranty. The pool is a vacation home and had I been there the entire time I would have known the problem was present during the first 12 months. This is terrible customer service after spending over 40k on one project. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Find a company that stands behind their work and has morals.

**Comment from Cox Pools:**

> Karrie,
> I wanted to reach out and see how you like the repairs that we made to your vacation home in December of 2015? I do apologize for the problems that transpired, but hope that we were able to rectify the problem, because we do care about our customers concerns!

## Community Q&A

**Q: What is the tile in the pool with the mosaic look design?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Tile in pool

A: Hi,

This was a home designed and built to showcase several local installers and designers. The tile was provided by Q-Tile. Their contact information is below.
Address: 17 Uptown Grayton Cir \#2, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459
Phone: (850) 213-0000
We don't have record of the exact tile, but please reach out to Suzy. We are confidant she can give you the information.

Hope this helps...

**Q: Sun shelf** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the depth of the sun shelf & depth of water?

A: I spoke with the person who built the pool. The sun shelf is either 8'X9' or 9X9. And the depth of the pool is 4.5' deep.

**Q: Black tile around pool** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello, first I must say this looks amazing! I am in search of a black tile to use for a water feature and was wondering if you mind sharing the manufacture and type of tile used in this project? Also what type of material is on top of the overflow of pool? Is it the same material as the actual pool finish? The struggle I have had is trying to find a black material to use outdoors which can be somewhat resistant to scale and the outdoor elements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Great job on this pool!

A: I am so sorry it took this long to answer your question (position was not filled until recently) The exterior is a cladded stone from Island Stone. This is sold at Q-Tile in Grayton Beach, Florida. The top of the pool is plaster. (Jet Black) The pool is a Rim Overflow. The finish requirement is to stay wet. I hope this helps! I asked the builder himself :)

**Q: What material was used on the deck? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Hate2Cook98! That decking material would be Travertine! Thanks for looking!

**Q: Pool dimensions.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Dimensions of the pool

A: This is a Rectange 9x20, 3-5 ft depth

**Q: Hello my name is Jairo and I am from Costa Rica** *(in Photo Questions)*

There are some lights on the catch tank's floor.

Want brand did you use?

Are LED?

Thanks

A: 4.5 feet
