In the process of selecting a granite contractor I interviewed 5 tradesman and Rey at Ageless Stoneworks was the ONLY contractor that understood our needs. He guided us towards the right product to accomplish our goal of perfection. He is extremely customer service oriented and takes great care and pride in his work.  All of our questions were answered promptly and he was able to accomplish the look that we wanted when others that we interviewed could not. **Q: What is the back splash?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the counter top, in fact that’s exactly what we selected. Can you help?  Thanks in advance!

A: The backsplash is a multi color slate subway tile.

What Tile is that?

A: It is a porcelain mosaic tile.  Not sure on color/name as it was purchased by customer.

**Q: Is it normal / ok to install sink (Kohler stages 45") with no clips** *(in Kitchens)*

I just had new granite installed with the stages 45" sink. The installer used a wood block on either side of the sink to hold the sink up as well as epoxy. There are no clips installed. I've never seen that done before and wanted to confirm if it was ok or should I ask them to fix the issue before payment.

A: beachem, make sure and keep up with the silicone edge on your sink.  Sandwiching the sink between plywood and stone is never a good idea.  We just recently ripped out some kitchen countertops because fabricator did this.  Over the years, water caused wood deck to swell and crack her granite.

A: Sorry Lee, but we only did the granite countertops and I'm not sure what the paint contractor used for wall color.  It was a greyish/tanish color if that helps.

**Q: Love the tile.  What is it and where do I find it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This is a 6x6 Noce tumbled travertine.  I'm sure any tile store could get it for you as it's easily available.
