Our property presented very unique challenges -- a steep slope and driveway, large natural boulders, and working with and around existing hardscape & softscape. We had a plan drawn up by a landscape architect and Janet was quick to study and thoroughly understand it. Because of her experience and expertise, she identified areas of the plan that would be challenging to build out and was able to offer suggestions for options that would still work and achieve the overall look and feel we wanted. Our project included fixing drainage and erosion issues, building new retaining walls in our slope and stairs, building a stucco wall to enclose our side patio, installing a new paved entry area and side patio, adding enhanced lighting, installing a decomposed granite walkway, and replacing old irrigation systems (lines & valves) with new ones. I'm sure I may have missed some work Belle Terre did! Janet and her team have been working together for over 25 years and it is no wonder the job was done right, on time and on budget. The end results of this project is that we have a beautiful drought tolerant front yard with color, texture and life. We cannot believe how great it looks and our yard is so much nicer than our previous lawn focused design. I only wish we had done it sooner.
