> Sharon assisted us with what began as a kitchen remodel and turned into the renovation of our great room as we opened up the space and expanded the kitchen.  We took down a wall between the kitchen and dining room, removed a support column, removed fur downs and raised the ceiling and reconfigured our kitchen layout. Sharon was instrumental in helping us to visualize the new space and ensure we had the most efficient layout for our needs.  She provided detailed blueprints of the kitchen configuration as it was prior to the remodel and the proposed post-remodel configuration.  We went through several iterations of designs with her because as the project progressed modifications had to be made to work around a support column and other unforeseen issues.  She was very accommodating and came up with a creative solution to hide the major support column in our great room by designing our bar/island to wrap around it and be covered in cabinetry from floor to ceiling. She met with our contractor and cabinet builder to ensure that they understood her detailed cabinet plans and was always easy to get in contact with when they had questions.  She also provided a lighting plan for the electrician and assisted with how and where to mount the under cabinet lights, electrical outlets and the garbage disposal switch so that it did not interfere with our kitchen backsplash. We love our new kitchen and would highly recommend working with Sharon.

**Q: Please tell me where the pendants are from.** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have a 12'9" peaked ceiling in the kitchen and can't figure out if I want the pendants coming down to 36" above the counter.  Also, thinking i should just use 2 bigger pendants than three.

**Q: Paint Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Please share the paint color used on the island!

A: The island color is Sherwin Williams SW 6509 Georgian Bay.
However, if you are painting your cabinets, it is "critical" to do a test swatch on a door or drawer front or several paint samples BEFORE painting EVERYTHING!!!
Also, the color in the photo may not be a true color rendition. This photo shoot was done on a very sunny morning and the sun streaming into the window can and did distort the true color. Experiment with several colors on a sample board or text door before committing to painting everything. This is the most important advice that I can give you. It's important in order to make sure that you achieve the desired effect that you want !!! Dark paint is very difficult to get off once a wood surface has been painted since it seeps into the wood grain.

What kind of countertop is the island?

A: It is Silestone. An engineered or manmade product. It is made to look like marble.

A: It is Vicostone " Misterio"

**Q: Do you have the dimensions of this kitchen?  Beautiful!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The overall space is about 15' 6" wide x 25" long. It is a long narrow space but feels open and light because we widened the opening from the den to allow more light into the space and give the sense of a wider room.

**Q: What type of countertop is this? Quartz or marble? It's beautiful!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This countertop is Silestone...very durable and consistent color.
