There were other companies that offered similar pricing to Dann at Revisions, but I was getting so worn out I was ready to NOT have it done at all. When Dann came over to do his estimate (BTW he was last but not least), he was the ONLY contractor who looked at the Before and actually had a VISION for the After. Without giving up a bunch of space or a bunch of our money, my wife and I got an AWESOME His and Hers walk in closet out of the deal! We would have never dreamed of having that much space and organization! PLUS, Dann’s suggested layout gave us MUCH more room than we imagined. Some of my “wants” might have been a bit “left field” but Dann incorporated them into the build and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We also greatly appreciate the time spent with us in picking out all of the accoutrement. We couldn’t have done it on our own and your designer Michele never made us feel rushed in the process. > > I can’t say enough about the honesty, integrity and sincere caring that was taken in our redux from the top down and bottom up. By that I mean to say that we were treated the way we like to be treated but seldom receive in today’s world. From Dann’s awesome vision for the project (and stepping in regularly in just to make sure we were happy with the progress). Dennis Kimble, our foreman, made sure that when there was a judgement call, he always made us part of the decision and when we were stumped, he always had terrific suggestions, Dean, Jesse and the guys were SO respectful, diligent, hard working, do it right the FIRST time kinda guys. At NO time did we have to deal with any mess in our home because every night when they left they straightened up and every night they would invite to come and inspect their work. > > To Infinity and Beyond! The bathroom remodeling project started January 22, 2013, seven weeks after I signed the contract. The projected time for completion was 2-3 weeks. It took 9 weeks! Much of the work done was sloppy (e.g., towel bars were installed without using a level & apparently without bothering to measure). They redid one towel bar & I redid two others. The walls were not left in paintable condition. I had to spend two full days sanding the dry wall so that I could paint. The shower enclosure was not even ordered until three weeks into the project. Parts for the enclosure were mis-cut twice, each instance causing a week delay. It was seven weeks before the shower was completed. The shower base was scratched with a knife. Caulk was left on many tiles for me to clean up. My hardwood floor was dented. The list goes on, but you get the idea! > > I have a signed receipt stating that I paid in full and that the sub contractors were paid. Nine weeks after the project was started I got a call from the plumber sub contractor saying he has not been paid & that he may have to file a lien on my home. > > I would not recommend that anyone do business with this company! > > 4/18/2013 Update > > I filed a compaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Revisions Remodeling has failed to respond to my compaint. As a matter of fact, I was sent a copy of the letter sent by the BBB and it was marked as undeliverable. > > I have STILL not received confirmation that all of the sub contractors have been fully paid. This was promised to me by Revisions Remodeling's presiden almost a month ago. > > I confirm my initial rating. This has been a terrible experience! **Comment from Revisions Remodeling Showroom:** > Anyone who serves customers knows that every 25 or so projects, one will be a problem. And that one project is the one where the customer is the most exacting. Revisions Remodeling has been in business for over 24 years and, honestly, over 80% of our business is either past customers or referrals from past customers. We survived the recession when many of our competitors didn’t. We must be doing something right. > > To address a few of Ronaldsm’s concerns: Yes, it took almost seven weeks to start both projects (hall and master bathroom remodel) because our custom cabinet manufacturer was closed for two weeks over Christmas. The custom made shower enclosure cannot be ordered until the tile work is complete. It then takes 3- 4 weeks to measure, order, fabricate and install the enclosure. Unfortunately, a part was missing and that did delay installation 3 working days. Final completion, 4 weeks. In regard to the unpaid contractor, we maintain a running balance with them and they were partially paid. > > Ronaldm signed with us because our competitors could not provide a badly needed master bath shower by redesigning both bathrooms. We did many extras for Ronaldsm at no charge that for some reason he has failed to mention.
