> We went to this house because it won "Best of Tour" on our local tour of homes. We were so impressed with this house once we saw it! It has beautiful travertine and wood floors throughout, a huge fireplace and amazing outdoor kitchen just to name a few features. We were also really impressed with the builder himself. He was very knowledgeable about every product that went in to the house, and was excited to tell us about the opportunities for green building and alternative energies. The homeowners themselves came out just to brag about how great he was to work with. When we build we'll definitely use this builder.

Did you use rough or treated wood for the posts on the porch?

A: The posts are 6"x6" rough Douglas Fir, clear coated with an exterior satin polyurethane.

What is the paint color on the garage/exterior?

A: Paint is Benjamin Moore. Fascia is Toasted Brown 2097-10, siding is Desert Tan 2153-50. Paint colors can often be a difficult choice, I hope this helps!

This is beautiful. What is the stone called?

A: Wow, looks like I am way behind on answering this. The stone is white limestone, it tends to be called a different name depending on where you are at.

A: Thank you! The paint is Benjamin Moore. Fascia is Toasted Brown 2097-10 and soffit/siding is Desert Tan 2153-50. Hope this helps!

What color stain on ceiling?

A: It's been awhile, but I believe that is Cedar Bark from Sherwin-Williams. The wood is Ponderosa pine.

What is the siding material on the ceiling and how has it been finished? Thank you.

A: It is a yellow pine v-groove 1X6 tongue and groove board . It has been stained and sealed with a high gloss polyurethane.
