> Good at visualizing solutions to complex remodeling problems, mostly quality work (some things didn't go smoothly or come out well, which is to be expected with any job), but I wouldn't use him again. Greg has an awful personality and doesn't treat his clients fairly or kindly. He and his team don't show up consistently or communicate well. He has admitted that he will delay starting a job if he doesn't like a client. You just always have to wonder if you are a client he "likes" or not. If you ask too many questions or annoy him in any way, you will suffer the consequences. I have worked with another contractor since and it's night and day.

> Our project involved structural changes and some unique sourcing. TGC went out of their way to find what we were looking for and to provide cost saving suggestions. Work and workers were high quality, professional, and fun. We plan to use TGC for our next project.

> Alana and I had a vision... a very vague vision of what we wanted. Greg was instrumental in helping us see that vague vision into a polished and finished project. He helped us go from a wide array of kitchen remodel / addition ideas to a narrower focus and one that met our goals (what would work best for our family AND be a valued change to the home for the next family down the road). He helped shepherd us through our rudimentary layout drawings into refined plans and clean integrations into the structure of our home. He helped us make decisions with finishes and fixtures. you name it he was there to assist. We didn't have a "we want you to do this (and here are the plans and decisions already) please quote." He was more of a guide for us through the process and through the discovery of what we actually wanted.
>
> I found that discovery help was what really pushed us over the edge and solidly behind Greg Haskell. Once we started the project he was always willing to listen to us talk about changes, but also there to remind us that 'project creep' is fundamentally different from our original goals / ideas. He was great and I intend to use his company and services for other projects in the future.

> This was our first home renovation, a mid-century modern home in Chapel Hill. The walk-in basement needed to be totally overhauled. The project included framing, insulation, new windows, ceiling, and electrical work. Greg took care of everything except the electrical aspect (though I have no doubt he could have managed that too). The estimate he provided was thorough, and he kept to it. The work was conducted quickly, conformed to the local building codes, and was completed to a very high standard (the building inspectors commented on the quality of the framing).
>
> I expect that I could have found cheaper alternatives, but doubt the work would have been.carried out to such a high standard, and as quickly.

> I liked the way Greg the owner worked directly with me in discussing my ideas, making his own suggestions and acting promptly in addressing concerns and issues, he was proactive in taking care of issues and follows up with calls emails or texts He also spent numerous hours going over project before during and even after project completion.. It was so easy to work with Greg and his crew making a stressful construction situation worry free. I also liked that payment was for services and materials after job completion that showed faith in the contractor and homeowner, I would hire Greg again for my next project and recommend to all requiring a quality honest contractor,

> Great to work with! Timely, and his people were really excellent. They also kept a tidy workspace and worked quickly.
