> We spent about a year planning a kitchen remodel which included removing a wall as well as ceiling work throughout most of the house and we had 5 contractors come look at the project. Edward, from Plumb Level Square, showed up with his assistant and the cabinet coordinator and we knew we wanted to use them almost immediately. They had great ideas to offer and most importantly they seemed very organized which is really hard to find with contractors!  Luckily they could fit us in within a couple of months. The estimate was about average, maybe even a little less expensive than the other quotes. Paul, the foreman was great to work with, he communicated the scope of the project and their progress every day. Everyone on the crew was professional and nice to deal with and they always showed up when they said they would. We love the finished product, they did a beautiful job. They are skilled at what they do but I also really think the organization and communication made this a very positive experience.

> I received estimates from three contractors and not only was the estimate from Plumb Level Square the lowest, I liked Ed Pierce, the owner.  That is important when you are having people working in your house, maybe even as important as price.  Our house was built in 1930 and our several-times-renovated kitchen was out of sync with the rest of the house.  Ed and his subcontractors helped design a modern but stylistically compatible kitchen that looks like what could have been the original construction but light and efficient and easy to clean.  We ended up refinishing floors throughout the house and partially renovating a bathroom.  Ed was very helpful when it came to fixtures and hardware and trouble shooting the problems that arise when renovating an older house.  I was very grateful for his suggestions and am still pleased with all the decisions.

> Edward pierce, steward of Plumb Level Square, was recommended to us for the construction of our retail space/jewelry workshop in January of 2016. The project was complex. The building in which our space is located is an award winning fusion of incredible materials and panoramic plays on natural lighting. Any work within this space had to fall under the strictest parameters and highest standards;and was planned in careful accordance with the owners of the property. The job was completed perfectly...lines, angles, surfaces impeccable! Custom wiring to the equipment specifications was installed without hitch and still performs flawlessly!
>  Last, but not least (and as a New Yorker I am pretty iron fisted) a detailed and accurately rendered bill that was commensurate to the estimate; and extremely fairly priced relative to the work done and timeframe afforded for completion. Where can I get these drawers or is it custom and what type of wood?

A: The species is White Oak. I have made a set of these for a restaurant in Seattle with a Black walnut face.  This set pictured is in The Plain English Marylebone Showroom in London. If you find yourself in London stop by their showroom and you will be amazed at the quality of their craftsmanship.
