Local contractors were pricing my project very high, and some of them would not even consider the job. (some would not even return a phone call) I had no choice but to broaden my search across Canada and even the US. I found Knotty's Woodwork just by searching on the internet. At first I was very hesitate about proceeding with a contractor located in Ontario, but George was very receptive to my needs and assured me that shipping these large counter-tops (in the dead of winter, no less) would not be a problem. He showed me pictures of his work. Schedule was also very important--we needed them in time for Christmas, and because I had to deliver them to a remote area there was no room for error. Needless to say, George came through as promised and his work speaks for itself. He shipped them very carefully, measurements were precise, and my expectations were met. I will use Knotty's Woodwork on my next project. Looks like I'm going to have to call the police to get my money back! **Comment from Knotty's Woodwork:** > Im not sure we can post refund receipt online but we both know that your deposit was made the day you asked for it. Im not sure it showed on your statements that week but thats not in our control. We did send you an email showing you the refund, you didn't want to believe us so we had to send it again. Theres no need to hunt us down we are right here locally.
