I contacted Electric Bear to review the job and provide an estimate for the installation. I had a written estimate within a few days. The installation itself took a full day. I can't say enough about his professionalism!! He was very clear in what he would do and how much it would cost. We always felt informed every step of the way from our initial contact with Larry through the permitting, installation and inspection. During the installation, Larry discovered some concerns with some electrical work done by our generator contractor. He showed us the problems, took pictures of them and sent us an email with his recommended fixes. I copied and pasted the body of his email with the pictures and sent it to generator contractor. I'm happy to say that the generator contractor agreed with Larry and is coming out to remedy the problems tomorrow. Larry went the extra mile for us in identifying those problems. Larry did the most thorough installation I have seen. He is a clear communicator and his billing process is equally as clear. Larry took time to explain the process to me and address issues that he discovered (from past electricians) in the electrical panel. He was very efficient, friendly, trustworthy, and professional. > > Larry dismantled our old kitchen cabinets, sofets, counters, lighting, etc., down to the wall studs. He then evaluated existing electrical systems and began replacing and repairing to bring it all up to code and to conform to new kitchen design, coordinating with Camille of Divine Kitchen. This included updating the electrical panel, repairing and replacing when needed, and connecting all new appliances, including a free-standing hood. He also did all the drywall work and even moved a floor air condition/heat vent under new cabinets. The remodel extended into surrounding rooms. He installed 29 canned lights, 3 ceiling fans (which included extensive time in the attic),a fancy under-cabinet light strip, upgraded plugs in remodel area and other parts of the house, lighting in front hall, living and family rooms, and bathrooms, plus a new doorbell. He also upgraded our spa connection and added lighting to our new hutch. Some of the lighting involved rewiring and relocating connections. He made sure everything was in perfect working order!
