> You don't want to take chances with concrete contractors.  Mistakes are in stone and hard to fix.  I was blessed that Ed and his crew were available and willing to work several jobs for me.  Ed's decades of experience were invaluable when engineering a large driveway/patio with a tricky drainage situation.  My client was astounded with the results.  His crew was on time, professional and very respectful of my client's property.  Another job involved meandering walkways and large curves around old trees.  His lines and sweeps were nothing less than artful, and the finish was flawless.  His work is now the focal point around the landscape of the entire front yard.  As a general contractor, my living depends on my ability to place my trust and faith in those I hire; to represent me in front of my clients and support the reputation I've worked hard to build.  When I'm fortunate enough to have projects where I can involve Variety Construction, I'm confident and relaxed about that aspect of the job.  Ed is an excellent communicator, organized and very thorough with his bids.  He's conscientious and prompt to respond to my questions and concerns.
