W., Aug. 2019** > Our project did not go smoothly with Albemarle. Though recommended by our architect, I would not use them again and cannot recommend a company with lack of attention to detail. Slabs that were chosen were unavailable later; kitchen install produced badly joined slabs in granite; and a broken soapstone backsplash was installed anyway. A bathroom backsplash had to be removed and milled down because no one measured properly for the faucet size. When I insisted that this be done, I met resistance in "no one uses the pop up so it doesn't matter." Maybe I didn't get the A team for install, but why not? What ever happened to pleasing the customer? If she is busy, she will always call you back; if she is tied up with another customer she'll be in contact ASAP.
