The remodel involved extensive structural changes with removal of several load bearing walls and the redesigning of our kitchen, family room, living room, dining room, master bath, master bedroom, home office, and the addition of a loggia by our backyard pool. Steve Stand had a clear understanding of what our vision for the remodel would be, an excellent sense of design, a thorough understanding of what the structural engineering would require, and a well developed plan for how the project should proceed. He continued to be involved in supervising the construction process and was always readily available when issues arose requiring his attention. In addition, he went out of his way to ensure that the plans went through the city review process without delay - hand walking them through the city's various departments to ensure there were no delays in our project. We had no unexpected problems with our project nor did we have any delays due to the architectural portion of our remodel. I am completely satisfied with Stand Architects and would gladly use them again in the future.
