We hired karen to be the project manager for the remodel of our condominium. She started out very enthusiastic and with some good ideas; however, once her fee was paid things changed. We rarely saw her during construction. She charged us for a dining room remodel that we never actually did. The contractors she hired were unreliable and extended six months beyond the agreed upon completion time. She never even showed up to see the finished product. We dealt mainly with the contractor directly. I certainly didn’t need to pay someone thousands of dollars to end up running the project myself.
