The ladies walked through the home with us before the drywall was on, taking measurements and getting our wishlist.  From there they worked up two scenarios for each room for us to see with pictures of the rooms and items to buy.  It was so easy to say what we wanted.  They ordered and stored the furniture, and hen the house was done came for the delivery and had everything set up properly.  We didn't have to do anything!!  They are also a good source for information about stores and contractors.  We would not hesitate to use them again .  They were exceptionally knowledgeable and easy to work with.

A: I think a single framed piece of art with some texture and a pop of color would add some great movement and life to the space. It looks like you have some nice natural light coming from the right of the photo so you could always reposition those three mirrors on the other wall above the sectional to reflect that light and really brighten the space! Then maybe find a smaller piece of artwork for the remaining wall. Hope that helps!

**Q: Awkward space behind cooktop - material advice** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I just replaced my outdated brown countertops with a beautiful quartz - yay! We're also painting the cabinets greige. I had planned to take the quartz material behind the cooktop but the fabricator said it wasn't possible due to the thickness and cooktop. I am now stuck trying to figure out what to put behind the stove. I like the look of marble tiles in a similar white with gold/grey veining or the imperfect ceramic tiles that are kind of trending, but I don't want it to be too busy by introducing another material. I thought about just doing drywall because it would be consistent and clean, but am also not sure drywall is the most practical choice. To make matters worse it's not a perfect square and has those awkard jut-outs due to the window, so really anything other than something extremely neutral that just blends in will look a bit awkward. Please help!

A: Gorgeous countertops! I love the direction you're going with the greige cabinets as well - I think it's going to look great all finished. If it's an option, it might be nice to continue the drywall to the ends of the windows so its more of a subtle, streamlined shape rather than the distracting "I" shape. You could use a neutral textured tile under the range hood or even a white marble tile with gray veining to complement the countertops. Hope this helps!

**Q: I need a help to bring to life / remodel my airbnb master bedroom.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am wondering if anybody can give me some advise as how to improve this master bedroom. It is my short term rental in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I am just not loving it. Thank you.

A: Great space, love the vaulted ceilings and neutral color palette! I might suggest bringing in some lighter neutrals to brighten the room a bit, either by changing up with a textured white duvet, white/cream pillows or throw on the bench, or even a window treatment like a roman shade or curtain. It might also help to free up some space on the night stands by swapping the lamps with a pair of wall sconces or pendant lights, or even just some slightly more narrow lamps if you're looking for a simpler swap. I would also play around with the idea of a single piece of art, mirror, etc., centered above the bed for a focal point rather than one on either side. Hope this helps or sparks an idea for you!
