The interior was gutted to create an efficient floor plan with large dressing room, central office space, and expanded kitchen. The existing mantle was removed, illuminated shelving added to each side, and the tv lowered to create a more intimate media and display wall. The lighting served to push the visual boundary of the narrow room past the fireplace. Small scale furnishings took seating in the space from 3 to 6 .
