ShowHomes.com/Tampa We were told that an agent would stay at our house for security. We signed her contract agreeing that if she moves out before the house sells we pay her $10,000. We were given 2 weeks to get everything out of a 2,000 sq ft house (I’m 70 yrs old). > > Once the contract was signed she moved in with her family (husband and daughter). She disconnected our security system and shoved it under a cabinet. She had her own internet installed on our house. She had parties by the pool and out of town guests came to stay (4 days) and we were told to stay away because it would make everyone uncomfortable. > > We were still packing up the garage and had vehicles to sell, but with Lilliana living in our house we had to call ahead to have access to our own driveway. We were still paying the mortgage, water and electric but she took over the house. After reaching out to one of the owners Theresa, to meet me at one of my staged properties that I was not happy with (I found to be extremely overpriced, for the amount of furniture set) - not only did I wait for over an hour for her to at least reach out to me, She never showed up! Didn’t even offer to return me any of the money. After having them pick up the rental furniture they never communicated where the key was left at, they BURIED one of my keys in the ground. Unfortunately in this specific situation, we couldn't change the fact that on the day of the meeting, Theresa's father was rushed to ER for heart attack and the meeting slept away from her mind. The meeting actually was to understand the client complains about the staging since the house was already under contract just after we staged. A good staging company stages for the buyers and in this situation as in many others we achieved the goal. > Theresa tried to reach out several times but no answer was received. There were some challenges with layout because of the size and dimensions the large open area that was created through the remodel. They created the beautifully designed and cozy home with the furniture and lay out and with in a couple weeks I was able to obtain a buyer. They are extremely professional and easy to work with. The latest tenants we had destroyed our home, they did not maintain it at all. There were weeds growing in all the pavers, mud wasps nests all in the front entryway, horrible mold in the lanai and front of the house. There was damage to the trim outside the house. Damage to the interior walls, they gouged the trim in my pantry, which matched the cabinets, baseboard chipped, garbage left in the garage, a rolled up carpet and work bench and other items. The garage door motors had birds nests on top of them. One of the nests had an egg in in. My beautiful dining table was destroyed. They burned the top and scratched it beyond repair. That dining room set was very expensive. And to top it off they stole my sideboard from my dining room.
