I came to them after an old cast iron pipe in my 100 year old house cracked and leaked sewage all over my basement and laundry room. The space was already dark and dank - lots of exposed pipes, sagging ceiling, exposed concrete blocks, no lighting, random walls/cramped rooms with odd shaped closets. I dreaded doing laundry down there, so I asked VSD to help me reimagine the space. > > VSD listened to what was important to me, developed a few options that would work with the space and how we hoped to use the room. Once we landed on a concept, they then helped me to find quality contractors that could do the work, which was pretty extensive for just one room. We then transitioned into designing cabinetry. Given the cost of the construction, VSD worked with me to find options that were both beautiful and within my budget. > > The laundry room ("Mom Cave") is now one of the most beautiful rooms in my house, and I thank VSD for that. I was consistently impressed with their design / construction knowledge, creativity, and high quality, beautiful aesthetic. I am looking for examples of this to do my outside counters which are currently tile and not wanting to replace the granite on my island. A: The perimeter and island tops are the same material. They look slightly different in the photo due to the light and color of the cabinets.
