> When I purchased my 1951 home in 2017, I knew it was a going to be a big project. Not only did it require a complete renovation, but I also needed all new furnishings. I searched through hundreds of designers on Houzz and chose Artful Interiors because Marisa was down-to-earth, familiar with the area, and had experience with previous bachelor pad projects. What I couldn’t have predicted was how easy the process would be. I had input on the big items, but otherwise I gave her free range so I didn’t have to think about it. She handled every single detail from paint selections and light fixtures down to the art on the wall and even the glasses for the bar. That was the magic that really made the house a home. Every detail was considered with me and my interests in mind; I love the wall featuring my guitar collection and the custom piece of art she commissioned for me. I’m even sleeping better because she really listened to my need for temperature and lighting control. My kids love their room too, and having a space that’s really made special for them.
