> I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I scheduled an inspection and was assured that I would receive a report of the preliminary findings from the first visit, along with a proposal for any additional testing that might be needed. Despite those assurances, I never received either document.

> I was also charged $$$ for the initial visit. When I booked the appointment, I made it very clear that I would not agree to that kind of fee for a simple walkthrough of my property. Had I known that no meaningful work or deliverables would be provided, I would never have agreed to the charge.

> Since then, the contractor has been completely unresponsive—no report, no proposal, and no communication of any kind.

> The lack of follow‑through, the questionable billing practices, and the failure to provide the services they represented make this a deeply frustrating experience.

> I hope I can save other homeowners from trusting this company. We are planning a renovation and wanted a structural engineer's feedback before we hire a contractor. I first emailed and spoke with Soil & Structure Consulting, Inc in November 2023. Santosh completed an inspection on December 1st and took our check for $525, and then we never got a report.  They have ignored my emails and the other ways I have reached out (including private messages on social media).  I first asked for a report and then asked for a refund and have never gotten a response.  Find a different company if you're looking for a structural engineer!
