> I really wanted this project with Creekside Pro to be a positive experience, but unfortunately it ended up being quite frustrating overall.
>
> At the beginning, I had high hopes. Alex was generally respectful on site and easy to work with, and the crew themselves were polite and treated the property with care. The project did eventually get completed. However, the process along the way was much more difficult than expected.
>
> One of the biggest issues was the accuracy of the estimates. Several measurements and cost projections were significantly off, to the point where I often had to double check dimensions and take measurements myself. The design support through their partner WeVisu also didn’t add much value. The designs felt very basic and templated, and honestly today’s AI tools can produce comparable or better design concepts faster and at a fraction of the cost.
>
> Material sourcing was another concern. Many of the materials provided through their channels appeared to be heavily marked up, close to 100% in some cases. I ended up sourcing many items locally instead, which saved a substantial amount and also helped correct earlier estimate discrepancies.
>
> Project management was another weak point. Austin, who was introduced as the project manager, appeared to be new to the role and had limited involvement throughout the build. He visited the site fewer than ten times over the entire course of the project, which left many decisions and coordination tasks falling back on me. In practice, I ended up acting as the project manager myself, spending significant time coordinating work, following up with contractors, and sometimes even doing portions of the labor just to keep progress moving.
>
> There were also areas where technical guidance was limited. For example, the electrical panel upgrade required more expertise than was available through the team, so I ended up sourcing and coordinating that subcontractor independently. That portion of the work was completed in about three months, while the ADU construction through Creekside ultimately took around six months.
>
> Financially, this became a sensitive part of the project as well. Beyond the contracted costs, I found myself paying additional money on the side to bring in subcontractors and specialists to complete certain portions of the work properly and on time.
>
> To be fair, the crew on site did work hard and Alex was generally helpful when present. I don’t believe there was any bad intent from the individuals involved. However, the combination of inaccurate estimates, heavy material markups, limited design value, and the amount of self-management required made the overall experience disappointing.
>
> The project eventually got done, but the process required far more effort, coordination, and additional cost from the homeowner than expected. Because of that, I would be hesitant to use Creekside Pro again for future construction projects.

> They should have cleaned the tar off the edge of my roof right away not six months after roof was done.   They should have leveled out the cement before putting down flooring.  They should have paid for underlayment instead of telling me it would be squishy if it was used.  They should not have complained about the discount given. They should got windows in the exact size needed.
