Over the past 20 years I have managed interior design and staging projects for both residential and new construction clients. I am a strong client focused award winning designer, who dedicates myself throughout each project, starting from conception to delivery, ensuring that it has been completed with the utmost professionalism, workmanship, and creative vision.
It is my belief that we each put our soul into a house. It’s what makes it a home rather than just a place to live. The design, the layout of the rooms, the colors, the pictures we hang, the lights that illuminate our paths or our bedside tables each say something about us. It involves vision, artistry and a clear understanding of the people who will use these living spaces. I can help you insure that your soul fills your home easily... and that it accepts you.

**★★★★★ — Mary Helen Letterle, Sept. 2025**

> As a Broker, I had the pleasure of working with Lyn and Jennifer of Designing Spaces by Lyn to prepare a property for sale, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. They really listened to our needs, respected the client’s budget, and created a staging plan that brought out the home’s best features.
>
> What impressed me most was their eye for design and attention to detail. Every room felt intentional—welcoming, functional, and beautifully styled without being overdone. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and they made everything seamless and stress-free.
>
> Thanks to their thoughtful staging, the home truly stood out and made a lasting impression on potential buyers. I would highly recommend Designing Spaces by Lyn to anyone looking for a professional, creative, and reliable staging partner in Asheville, Hendersonville, and western North Carolina.

**★★★★★ — Mary Sitton Team, May 2024**

> Lyn and Jennifer at The Designing Spaces by Lyn are masters of their craft. On short notice, the team arrived upon request and transformed my client's home. The staging consultation provides helpful information to prepare for staging day. Within a matter of hours, the house looked and felt welcoming. It was remarkable what they accomplished! I’m confident we would not have received these results trying to do it ourselves.

**★★★★★ — Sandhya Maheshwari, April 2024**

> Lyn is a great communicator and very experienced in helping people design their spaces. She has provided very valuable guidance through her consult with us. We greatly appreciate her skill and sensitivity to what's important to us. Thank you Lyn.

**★★★★★ — Jen, March 2023**

> Working with Lyn has been great. She has a true eye for seeing the potential for spaces. I appreciated working with her and how she has helped transform my office!

**★★★★★ — Barbara Bothe, March 2023**

> I have lived in my home, an actual farmhouse, for 19 years. Lyn showed me more ideas for my home in a 60 minute consultation than I had thought of in all those 19 years.
>
> Lyn has a lot of very high end clients and I wasn't sure what she could do with someone on a, shall we say "restricted" budget. She looked at my entire home, helped prioritize my needs while keeping that restricted budget in mind. In many cases she has utilized the furniture I already have yet managed to update it with a new lampshade here, a coat of paint there, maybe a new throw pillow on a chair. Seriously, each room has become less of a room and more of a "space" where I just want to be.
>
> In the case where furniture needs to be purchased, Lyn passes her designer savings directly to me, only charging for the time actually spent on my project.
>
> My home is still taking shape and each time my adult children come back to the farm for a visit they are excited to see whatever has happened in the latest phase.
>
> No one ever told me a room is supposed to have a "Queen". Lyn walked in, showed me the queen in each one of my rooms and I love it!
