At about 70% complete drawings we contacted Buchanan Construction to bid on our project. Right away, we were impressed by the professionalism of this company. In several meetings Rick and his crew value engineered 10% of the cost out of the building without changing the look or the quality of the project. Contracting and billing was straight AIA standard forms. > Construction started on time. We had a great superintendent assigned to us. Since we had excellent drawings, there were very few change orders. The only changes were due to us making minor changes in finishes. Talk about finishes: Buchanan has an in-house interior designer. She helped us with a multitude of detail decision during the course of the construction. We were very happy with the sub-contractors Buchannan send to the job. One small thing can make a big difference. Buchanan’s workers showed up every Morning in clean work cloth.
