> Colonial Brass has worked for our family for 23 years. They have refinished our brass door hardware and more recently did some replating of two silver pieces that some might have discarded. The newly replated silver pieces are exceptional - they will be enjoyed for generations to come. Thank you. Thank you for always delivering such high quality work.

> Colonial Brass did a great job restoring the base of an old oil lamp, in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.

> Not very pleased with the quality of work. Brought these pulls in for polishing and yet they still have spots that look tarnished.
> The explanation I was given was that these are nickel plated and what I'm seeing is the raw steel underneath. However, these don't appear to be plated. And they never mentioned that they were when I dropped them off.
> Seems to me an excuse for shoddy work. Alternative Facts!

> I have a beautiful 7 foot Grand Piano with heavy duty brass casters and trim. I also have 5 small dogs,....2 of which would occasionally lift their leg on the piano leg of their choosing. The brass was looking pretty bad so I did a search and found Colonial Brass in Houston. They cleaned, buffed, polished and relacqured all the brass and the end result was fantastic! The trim and the casters look brand new and i couldn't wait to get them back on my piano. The turn around time was very quick (only 3 days). Friendly staff and very helpful! Thank you Colonial Brass!!

> I had two lamps that were damaged during shipping, and took them to Colonial Brass to see if they could straighten the metal parts that were bent. It was a tricky operation, as the lamp had crystal ball breaks, and the metal parts were really heavy. They accepted the challenge, and did an outstanding job at correcting the problems with the lamps. I was so impressed by their willingness to even attempt the repair, as it was going to be difficult. They are really skillful craftsmen.

  - Description: Hedstrom Tricycle restoration. Its always a privilege to restore people's memories and happiness. This old hedstrom trike arrived in a pretty sad condition to say the least. She said it was a hand me down from her cousin and her cousin probably got it in 1937, before she received it in 1942 and then she rode it for God only knows how long and it had been sitting in her parents garage and then her garage since the 1940's ! Wow, She wanted the tricycle to look like it was when she rode it. I asked…
