We were interested in replacement due to uncomfortable indoor temperatures in both the winter and summer and we interviewed two other companies before choosing West Seattle Window & Door. I have to forewarn people that Michan may seem eccentric, but that's because she has a lot of experience and so she's naturally opinionated. That being said, she had great ideas that the other installers didn't have and at no point did I feel like she was trying to "upsell" us on anything we didn't want/need to improve not only our enjoyment of our home but also future resale value. When we did push back on any idea we didn't agree with, she was very receptive to the feedback and made the appropriate adjustments. The bid was fair for the amount of work and the work was a bit delayed due to COVID, but ultimately the in **★★★★★ — HU-689514, Jan. 2017** > Like all positive reviews, we were fully serviced; excellent pricing, quick turnaround, skilled installation, attention to detail, and excellent communication. We had a problem with the window that was installed which turned out to be an issue with the manufacturer/supplier. West Seattle Window & Door, came out on the weekend to assess the issue and immediately started the process to replace the window...and fully covered the cost of the product and labor. Definitely a five star experience. **★★★★★ — cybergaby, July 2014** > Our experience with West Seattle Window & Door started when we asked for an estimate. At the time we knew we wanted to replace the windows for the entire house, but we weren't entirely sure about the style. Michan, the owner came by and offered opinions about design and possible options of enlarging, dropping or any other modifications that we would want without any kind of pressure to sign with them. We decided they are are our best bet from the bids that we had and paid a down-payment. > She promised to deliver by a certain date, she kept us updated whenever there was anything unexpected that came up and she made sure to have to work wrapped up the the date promised. Her team of installers had all 33 windows (except 2 that were incorrectly sent from the manufacturer) installed with one enlargement included, over 2days and took care of wrapping up a week later when the other 2 were delivered.
