> Rubner built a fabulous creek/waterfall/water feature for us over seven years ago in our sloping side yard.  He listened to our very broad overview of what we wanted and then added the detail and magic.  Although we did most of the plantings around it ourselves, Rubner suggested and planted a magnificent Alaskan Cedar which we were totally unfamiliar with.  It is the crown jewel of the project, creating the perfect transition from our cedar-sided house to the boulders and trickling waterfall.  He also put in the perfect lighting for night time enjoyment. The Rubners listened, provided good advice and ongoing maintenance, and we have created quite a nice micro ecosystem that is easy to maintain and is the focal point of the entire yard.

**Q: What is the lush plant that borders the pond at the patio side?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the plant that runs along the pond edge from left to right adjacent to the patio.  What is it?

A: Looks like it could be Houttuynia cordata, but be careful....can be very invasive.
