**Q: Tiled stairs** *(in Design Dilemma)*

They keep cracking,  how can we remedy this?  They've been replaced 3x

A: Hi.you need screw and glued concrete  board  on plywood  and install anticrack  Ditra  membrane  on top of concrete board, then install tiles on anticrack  membrane, make sure you do back butter on each tile

Tile! What tile would you use in my kitchen? Something darker for contrast? Lighter to keep it fresh & clean? Color to spice it up? Subway to keep it traditional? Mosaic to give it texture? (Can you see I'm struggling with options??). I'd love some opinions or ideas!
