> My wife and I knew of Aztech from friends, who operate a geothermally-heated and cooled B&B and farm house. We got a late start, moving in with winter coming, a broken-down steam system, and a deadline for the tax credit. This was a big, one-time capital improvement, even subtracting what it would have cost to replace our boiler and add some radiators.

> John Ciovacco and his crew tested our home's energy load, and were quick with their quote. The basic design first suggested by Sales Manager, Chris Winkler, required us to remove our chimney, and run ducts in the same space. There was no going back to a vented combustion system. Chris stayed engaged, even as Geoff Hoffer, took over as our engineer, and the installers and subs got to work. Everyone was technically informed, the best of each trade, detailed and focused. They finished ahead of schedule.

> It's December in upstate New York. Snow is blowing and the temperature is falling. Our home is warm and comfortable. We sleep better with clean, filtered air, and with a greatly reduced carbon footprint. Sure, the steam heat was cozy, but so is this. And, furniture fits around windows, where before we had cast-iron radiators. I sure won't miss moving my window air conditioners in and out.

> If you are considering Aztech Geothermal, it may be more affordable than the upfront cost suggests. We expect our system to last longer than the alternatives, and the comparative price of fuel, which we don't consume, is bound to go up. It isn't for everyone, though I wish. Unless you already have an energy efficient home, you will pay even more and work even harder to block air leaks and increase insulation. Otherwise, you will pay for an expensive, over-capacity system, and maybe still not be comfortable. Aztech made sure we understood the commitment we were making and the available options and accessories to meet our particular needs. They helped us understand what and where efficiency upgrades were necessary, to allow the appropriately, but minimally-sized, 4-ton heat pump and 1,200 feet of underground piping to do their jobs.
