Lawless is a New England based full-service design firm that focuses on residential projects and boutique style commercial spaces. Lawless was started in 2016 by our founder, Hannah out of fusing her passions of interior design and wellness.

We assist our clients with a wide range of challenges including, selection of architectural details and finishes, collaborating with architects and builders, designing a functional beautiful space with furniture, decor, and creating individual pieces custom made for your space.

As wellness is one of our core values, we strive to incorporate wellness and sustainability into all the spaces we design. We advocate for sourcing from sustainable companies and eco friendly materials that are non-toxic for the spaces we design.

> We worked with Hannah on our project for almost 2 years. She went through multiple iterations and plans with us as we went between renovating, building new and then eventually settled on buying a 20 year old  home that was approximately 7,000 square feet which we completely renovated. She was very patient with us, listened to our needs, challenged ideas and styles and ultimately got us to our finished product. One of the best things we enjoyed about working with Hannah is how she simplified process for us. She helped us find all the right vendors from tile to lighting, faucets and sinks to even our shelving units. She kept everything organized in spreadsheets so we knew what to order, when and had a reference for all purchases.  It took a lot of the busy work out of our hands. Hannah is great about flexibility - she makes her recommendations but allows the final material decisions to rest with the client and there were many times we took a variation on what she suggested with her advice freely available to us throughout the process. Our home turned out spectacular and we are very pleased with her services.

> We really enjoyed working with Hannah. She has a warm, bubbly personality and is a delight to talk to. She was very open to our ideas but also gave us guidance when we needed it. We are two busy professionals, and it was great to have her handle the work of designing the main floor of our house. She thought of things that we never would have thought of, including building a custom bench in bay windows in our kitchen, which allowed us to maximize seating for entertaining. In some instances, we were sent bad materials by vendors, like a rug that was a different size than advertised, and she worked to make it right. She worked with a wide range of interior design websites, finding unique pieces that aren’t available at the big chains.
