> My husband and I engaged Brandie McCoy when we wanted to remodel our dark, dated kitchen to a light airy space. Brandie is an extremely talented designer and we couldn't be more pleased. Her eye for all design elements from color to texture to style is truly outstanding. What further elevates her as a designer is her ability to really listen to the client's desires and guide the client toward a beautiful design that reflects the taste and values of the client. When we expressed conflicted thoughts about removing the basket collection that hung from our 9 foot ceilings, she suggested a design that included two prominent built-in shelves (one over the kitchen window and one over an arched doorway - also her suggestion); this allowed us to incorporate some of them, yet move toward the lighter design we were working toward. She is thoughtful, artful, very pleasant to work with, has an incredible eye for detail and is eager for the project to reflect the client. It is a winning formula that we enthusiastically recommend. We wouldn't consider another project without her!

She offered her input when we asked her, but she never over-took our conversations with her own thoughts.  She was polite, and always watched out for our best interests.  When we asked her for budget updates, she was very quick to send the information.  She met our deadlines, and she arranged her schedule to accommodate ours as my husband and I both work full-time and we travel for work.  We love our new kitchen and bathroom, and we definitely have Brandie to thank for that!

She was helpful, resourceful, flexible, creative and enjoyable to work with.  In the end, we have a beautiful home with an amazing kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, message center and entertainment center (it was a big project). A: They are semi-custom.

What is the name or the color range for the slate tiles used?

A: The slate was called California Gold from DalTile.

A: It is a simple small hinge. The white thing in the upper right corner of the box is a touch latch mechanism.

A: Thank you! We did Bejamin Moore Timber Wolf 1600 on the 1/2 wall, Winter
Solstice 1605 on the walls, and 30% tint of that on the ceiling.

Who is the manufacturer of the gray fireplace screen?  Beautiful room.

A: Thank you! I think this was from Bosse  http://www.fireplace-bosse.com/, and it is a matte black finish.
