### All 8 reviews

**★★★★★ — Feldman Architecture, Inc., July 2018**

> MatPel has a long history and deep portfolio in the Bay Area and beyond. This is a mature builder, very capable of delivering perfection on the most sophisticated projects and sites, however they are also nimble and flexible on both budget and project scale. They have refined systems to aid from pre-construction through post completion maintenance. MatPel is a top notch builder we always look forward to working with!

**★★★★★ — TFLA \| Terra Ferma Landscape Architecture, July 2017**

> We have worked with Matarozzi Pelsinger on numerous jobs in the Bay Area. They are organized, great communicators, and work well within a project's timeline.

**★★★★★ — Schwartz and Architecture, March 2016**

> Matarozzi and Pelsinger were trusted partners on our large scale remodel. Well organized, timely, and a pleasure to work with. Superior craftsmanship and expertise.

**★★★★★ — 2M Architecture, Oct. 2015**

> We recently completed a new house with Matarozzi Pelsinger and WOW are they impressive. The site was difficult to build on and the house was designed with many unique and technically challenging details that Mat/Pel handled with great aplomb. All of their paperwork and submittals were well organized and the site meetings were productive. Needless to say, their craftsmanship was top notch. From top to bottom they are technically knowledgable, good communicators as well as being fun and easy to work with. Consider yourself and your client fortunate if Mat/Pel is the builder for your next project!

**★★★★★ — scottfaber, Nov. 2012**

> I hired Matarozzi Pelsinger for an extensive remodel of our penthouse condo. We renovated every room and built an internal staircase up to a newly created roof deck. It was a 10-month project.
>
> The firm was extremely professional throughout. They weren't the cheapest option, but they provided a level of management that ensured we didn't have overruns from either a cost or timeline perspective. With every weekly meeting I knew exactly where the project stood. We reviewed a spreadsheet with every item in comparison to its budget. I was always in charge of whether I wanted to add cost by adding a new feature, or not.
>
> They provided a full-time foreman who was always present on the job site, but whose sole job was to keep the project running smoothly, charm neighbors, and do whatever needed to be done.
>
> Everyone I worked with, from foreman to project manager to owner, was extremely likable and professional.
>
> And they do beautiful work. You're welcome to come take a look...

**★★★★★ — Jennifer Kesteloot, Nov. 2012**

> I had a great experience working with Matarozzi Pelsinger on a major remodeling job - an 8th floor penthouse in San Francisco. The entire team - the owners, project manager, foreman, builders, installers and painters, and everyone else - were 100% professional and a pleasure to work with.
>
> They kept problems to a minimum on a complex job, and dealt directly and gracefully with the inevitable challenges as they arose. The results are beautiful and the clients are very happy with their new home.
>
> I recommend them without hesitation - they are worth every penny and I am looking forward to our next project together.

**★★★★★ — David Gast, Sept. 2012**

> As architects specializing in custom residential work, both new and renovations, we have completed a half dozen jobs with Matarozzi Pelsinger Builders. They are a pleasure to work with: excellent project management, very high quality construction, and highly enjoyable people to work with.
>
> They are also our landlords and did the build-out of our space in their LEED-Gold renovation of an historic brewery warehouse. It's been a real pleasure to share a building together, and work together.

**★★★★★ — cmc1966, Sept. 2012**

> They kept our large project team moving forward and resolved issues quickly and professionally as they arose. There were 2 other major projects on our block at the same time and all of our neighbors told us how much they appreciated the communications and responsiveness from our contractor.
