> We came to Russel Remodelers through a trusted acquaintance's recommendation. As we have come to find that trust was not only well earned, but now equally shared. We'd done our due diligence to the extent we could reviewing and interviewing likely  candidates.  With the interview and recommendation in hand, we began with two smaller project test our decision: they were a deck rebuild and a bathroom remodel.  We were very satisfied with the results, so the following year we tapped  them for a kitchen remodel, the major remodel goal for us.  We were exceedingly happy with the results.
>      Some overall conclusions:  1) They worked very hard to help us to define our needs and keep within our budget requirements.  2) They never tried to up-sell us any product or service.  The recommendations were for good quality, builder tested products at very competitive prices.  For example, working with one of their subcontractors, they were able to get us bathroom granite as a remnant of a larger piece of superb looking quality at 1/3 the price.  3)  The quality and their management of subcontractors was very good.  Does that mean there were no bumps in the road -- no.  But they were always addressed quickly, to our satisfaction, and always within the overall schedule. All of the subcontractors did extremely professional work.  4) The overall effort came within agreed costs and supremely exceeded our imagined expectations for the final product. 5) Finally, they fulfilled our trust that they would do well by us.  They did it three times in a row.  They are honest, professional, and take pride in their work.

The experience was very positive and every aspect of the work was completed with excellent workmanship.  We nearly gutted the bathroom. The Russel group moved the toilet, built a new shower complete with tiled walls and a river stone flooring, installed a custom cabinet along with marble top and custom tile backsplash, and installed new flooring. We are so pleased with the final outcome. It's absolutely gorgeous. As with most construction projects it took slightly longer than expected but what construction project is ever completed on time? This is a company which strives for the highest sense of integrity and a determination to meet the customer's highest expectations.  They succeed on both accounts. The owner chose simple natural cherry cabinets, and granite counter tops. The biggest challenge wast getting the granite in. We had to have it lifted through the balcony patio door. The kitchen was nicely finished with lighted block glass peninsula, and hand painted tiles on the wall. Simply beautiful.

This made the addition of a screen porch worth it in Minnesota because of that shelter from the elements. They added an amazing wood burning stone fireplace, skylights, tri-fold patio door (really cool), with a outdoor TV. Best screen porch ever! Love it.

There was space to move and make a smaller closet that worked. This bathroom is 7' 8" long and only 4 ft deep. A pocket door and wall mount vanity and toilet allows this depth to work. Super. Cool. Bathroom. One of my favorites!
