Christopher’s collections include a comprehensive luxury furniture line of upholstery and casegoods, an artwork collection for Wendover Art Group, candles, bedding, and outdoor pottery in collaboration with Habitudes. All products are available at our shop in Palm Springs and fine retailers nationwide.

Christopher is the author of two design books: 2015’s California Modern and 2017’s Making Midcentury Modern.

Born in San Francisco and raised on California’s Central Coast, Christopher brings a synthesis of big-city style and relaxed resort living to his work. He received Bachelor of Architecture and MBA degrees from Drury University.

After enjoying the home for several years, Jakway sold the home to a "snowbird" couple from Chicago, who engaged interior designer Christopher Kennedy to refresh the house and imbue it with modern color.

**Q: Love this artwork!!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me about the artwork?

A: This glass art had been in the family for quite some time, previously used as a room divider or "screen". I turned it parallel to the wall and used metal-standoffs to float it slightly. The etched as done by a glass artist who was very popular in the 80s and 90s called Sans Souci.

A: Thank you...I love it, too! Unfortunately, the manufacturer is no longer in business. A terrible shame!

A: Thank you for noticing! It is lovely. The chandelier is a family heirloom from the early 1900s -- I wish I could tell you it was still available, but sadly I have never seen anything like it. (We did change the shades to black, which we ordered from Lamps Plus online)
