A: Hi, Thanks for your questions. Yes this is a concrete floor but not a true "polished slab". It is a concrete water proofing system called WestCoat which you can customize the color texture and final look to match most specifications. This allowed us to use it as a seamless shower base and also as the exterior deck coating even though this is over a wood framed floor system.
