> Amanda and Keri are worth their weight in gold.  They took on our main floor gut renovation which consisted of our kitchen living/dining and family room areas in the very challenging fall/winter of 2020 into 2021 during the thick of covid. They saved us a ton of money on mistakes that we most certainly would have made.  Their thoughtful design, vision and attention to detail helped alleviate as much stress as possible during a very stressful time.   We moved out for the renovation so they literally were our eyes, ears and voice with our contractor and vendors and was in constant communication with any updates.  They were able to listen and combine both me and my husbands styles which is reflected in each room seamlessly and when my husband requested a bar in our family room which terrified me, they not only designed a gorgeous custom bar cohesive with the rest of the home but saved and repurposed existing cabinetry original to the house which not only saved us money but we absolutely love the character it adds. It's a real wow moment for everyone who comes to visit.  When it came time to select a design for the kitchen, finishes and furniture everything was presented in a way that made it so easy to see the vision and to make confident choices knowing and seeing how everything was going to work together.  We love to entertain and are so proud to have our dream home to do it in thanks to Amanda and Keri.

> The day they showed up at my construction site I knew it would all be ok. ## Community Q&A

**Q: Where did you find those framed pictures?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I took them myself and had them framed at a custom framer! We like to add personal touches of art and decor we make ourselves to every project.

**Q: Where is this sectional sofa from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Ro Lynn, this is a custom sectional based on a vintage 60's design we stumbled across, but Room & Board makes a curved sectional that's really lovely and similar. Good luck!!

**Q: Books** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are the books in this photo from the owners existing collection are were the acquired specifically for this project? I love the look but see things like this, sometimes much larger, and always wonder about that. If they were acquired would you maybe have any tips on where to get a collection suitable for a project similar to this one or is it a trade secret?

A: Thanks for the inquiry!  These were already our client's books so we put up the shelves and gave them a nice home.  The Strand Bookstore in NYC (and maybe more stores in other cities that sell used books) sells "books by the foot" organized by color which look beautiful on shelves if you don't already have a collection or want the most aesthetically pleasing arrangement.

**Q: Birdhouse** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is that a light, where could I buy?

A: I don't know if one like it can be purchased, but we made the one in the photo! We purchased a birdhouse, painted it, and wired it up with a light kit with on-cord switch.

**Q: what shades are those roman? what color** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi! Those are indeed flat roman shades and they were custom-made in a silvery silk shantung fabric and lined with a privacy lining.

**Q: Bathroom shower question** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me if this design might fit in a 40x40 inch space?

A: This particular recycled glass tile had a matte finish that almost appeared sand-blasted or etched so every tile edge was quite soft. No sharp angles.  Since that was the case we just let them butt up against each other throughout, mitering them only on the curb around the front of the shower.
