At one point, it became clear that in order to find “that certain” table, it would have to be custom made. Alicia connected us with a local artisan woodworker who made us a simply perfect table out of beautifully grained hard wood, just as we had envisioned. Additionally, she guided us in fine-tuning adjacent rooms to pull it all together. We want to put pergo throughout the dining room and kitchen to give it a bigger feel, the dilemma.... there is ALOT of existing wood trim. We are worried if we don't match the existing wood trim, the whole kitchen will look weird but I am not huge fan of the trim color and would like to go a bit darker on the floors. Any thoughts?? A: No matter what kind of flooring you choose, if you don't like the color of the existing wood trim, paint it. Feel free to contact me for more information. **Q: Little girls bedroom - cheetah print help!** *(in Design Dilemma)* My daughter LOVES cheetah print but I envision a fun vintage farmhouse bedroom for her (spindle bed, ship lap, etc). I'm not afraid of color, but I have no idea how to subtly incorporate what she loves (and she loves the "real" looking black cheetah print, not the pink, purple, etc). Any thoughts on how to mesh the two? It might be helpful to know that wall color will be light Aqua and bed will be yellow. Help please! A: I think you'll have to choose which design vision you want to go with, hers or yours. Those two styles just won't look good together. - I suggest you go with her vision. Kids should have a say in the design of their rooms and their rooms don't need to go along with the rest of the house. They should be able to have a room all their own that reflects their interests and personalities. And remember, children grow up fast. Her tastes will change and you'll be faced with decorating it again in a few years. **Q: Vessel sinks** *(in Design Dilemma)* Do you like them in a bathroom!
