> The Johnson Design team listened to our needs, and then came up with beautifully creative solutions to help create for us  the unique age-in-place lakefront beauty that  attracts oohs and ahhs from passers by. The project had several constraints; from budget to Department of Natural Resources to square footage /lot requirements. The 3 BR, 3 bath house with a first floor master lives the way we do,. By designing lake views into virtually every room,  it connects us with the out of doors and transitions from wide open in the summer to coziy yet light filled in the winter. It lives small when it's just the two of us, yet expands to accommodate throngs of visiting family. A cleverly designed hobby/storage  room makes use of otherwise wasted attic space.

A: Unfortunately we don't have that information anymore.

A: The floor tile is a natural stone material, and was selected by the home owner.  Thank you for your interest!

**Q: Wood Floor Color Selection** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I want to replace carpet with wood in my condo.  I like darker wood tones; however, my condo does not get sunlight and is dark.  The woodwork is also dark with reddish tones.  Also want to replace tile in kitchen with wood.  I cannot change the woodwork or kitchen cabinets.

I have attached photos of my condo with samples I brought home from the flooring store.  My favorite is the middle sample in the first picture, but I am afraid it is too dark.  The lightest sample could work, but it contrasts with the dark baseboard.  Should the wood floor match the baseboard? Sure would appreciate advice from any of you experts.  Which sample do you like the best or are there other options?  Please note -- There are not many choices where I live unless I spend a small fortune.

A: I would go with the lightest wood tone.  The other two colors are too close to the cabinet color.  Hope that helps!

A: Thank you for the inquiry.   The counter top was selected by the homeowner so unfortunately we do not have the selection on file.  Your best bet would be to take this picture to your local granite counter top supplier and see what they can find.
