## Community Q&A

**Q: Pool Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you tell me the color plaster used for the pool?

A: French gray

**Q: beautiful open patio,** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you please let me know what size the patio is and the size of the beam, rafter and post, and also please what kind of lumber?
Thank you,!

A: 17 x 22. Lumber is construction grade Douglas Fir (sustainable) decking is 2x6, rafters are 3x8 at 32"o/c. Painted white. Swiss Coffee. Nice space....faces south.
Glad u like it. G

**Q: Floors** *(in Photo Questions)*

What are the floors? Laminate? Cement? Love them!

A: that's the structural concrete slab---polished , stained, and sealed. I suggest using extra strength concrete for the slab, because is is less prone to cracking. Concrete ALWAYS cracks, so filling the cracks will be necessary, and the more "solid color" the stain is, the less the filled cracks will show. hope that helps----GD

**Q: Rug** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the type of rug on the floor?

A: cotton and sisal

**Q: Can you tell me what is in the foreground of this picture? I have an awkward, but large, beamed room that I am** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: this photo is of the front "half" of a Great Room; the kitchen part of the room is behind the camera. that's a carpet runner in the foreground, and the floor is painted concrete. hope that answers, and thanks for your interest. best of luck, gd
