Living and operating an "at home business" during this process was just the start. It was also Covid too. Kitty & Co. has professionally used my business services over the years and the experience of witnessing her client interaction besides seeing the end results showed me Kitty & Co was going to make this a more pleasant experience. Starting from the initial meeting to discuss design and material ideas, budgets, wants and needs for the space, Kitty was very proficient with what I would say is the most important step. She listens very well and is patient. I never felt we were using too much of her time while we presented all our wants and needs to build the perfect kitchen. Quick to add why an idea is good but she is also confident to say that in her experience you really don't want to do that. Hard to be told you are wrong sometimes but trust me you DO want someone that can better visualize a redesign kitchen space idea and just tell you it may look pretty on Pinterest but it won't function properly. Our approach was to tell Kitty everything we wanted but we quickly learned it is also highly recommended telling Kitty everything you don't like about your current space. From that moment on the ideas and options she presented us opened a whole new spacious design world we never considered. She was able to take the confinement of a main side entrance directly to our home through the kitchen, the ability to only sit 4 people in our kitchen/dining space and the the claustrophobic feel you get in your kitchen with more than just yourself and give us the ability to have 4 people sit at kitchen peninsula bar, 6 sit at a dining table and I can cook, entertain and relax in my kitchen without feeling stressed and confined. She achieved all that without tearing down a wall to give us more kitchen square footage. Plus we have more cabinet storage space than ever. Everyday we use our kitchen space, we are extremely grateful we used Kitty & Co. to place our kitchen "in a better class" than we could have ever imagined. One other positive that came from a negative, we had a small hiccup of receiving the wrong materials for one of the steps including it being installed. Upon realizing the mistake Kitty & Co. had no issues honoring what we originally wanted (even though the variation was subtle) and took care of it as quickly as possible. While we all want everything to go and be perfect I feel it's more impressive how someone handles an issue that is not and Kitty & Co. did.
