Lawrence Kantor, Inc., plumbing and heating supplies, has served northern and central New Jersey for more than 50 years. Our company is run by the third-generation of a family in the business. In 1912, when Kantor Brothers was founded in Newark, NJ by Sam Kantor and his brothers, shipments arrived by rail and supplies, such as cast-iron soil pipe, were delivered on chain-drive flatbed trucks. In 1954, Lawrence Kantor (Sr.) left his father’s company to found Lawrence Kantor, Inc., at 169 Scotland Road, Orange, New Jersey, adjacent to Interstate 280. We’re located in a 3-1/2% enterprise zone, so you only pay half the usual sales tax, which can be a substantial savings.

Although Kantor Supply’s original mission was to serve the plumbing and heating trades, our core business has expanded to include sales to other wholesalers as well as retail sales through our elegant showroom. Our convenient showroom, adjacent to I-280, has contributed to our success. “We are in Essex County, in the heart of populous northern New Jersey, serving a market of several million consumers, including those from communities like Short Hills, Livingston and Essex Fells,” says Jonathan Kantor, President of Lawrence Kantor, Inc.

Committed to serving retail customers courteously and efficiently, Kantor Supply has benefited from builder and contractor referrals, as well as those from satisfied retail customers. Our elegant Kohler Registered Showroom displays a wide variety of Kohler fixtures, faucets and accessories. Other products on display include vanities, tubs, toilets, faucets, shower doors, medicine cabinets, cabinet hardware, and ventilation fans. A knowledgeable sales staff is available to assist in the selection of a wide array of functional and decorative items.
