### Reviews

**★★★★★ — AP RESORT CONCEPTS, Nov. 2016**

> My design firm has had the pleasure of working with Martin Manley Architects for many years now on almost a dozen multi-million dollar residential projects. They are one of the most dedicated architecture teams in the Vail Valley that are constantly thinking outside the box and pushing design in a new direction. With a positive, friendly, and adaptive attitude towards their work, both Jeff Manley and John Martin are more than a pleasure to work. As architects they are extremely reliable to get the project completed on budget and on time, leading to very fulfilled clients! My staff and I love working with Jeff and John as they are consistently available to help and provide drawings or construction information, all while being open to our often challenging designs. Martin Manley Architects stand out within this industry as they endlessly progress their designs to stay relevant and on trend within technology, materials, and overall design elements. And to go one step beyond, they educate the team they are working with on their recent discoveries. We would strongly recommend working with Martin Manley Architects in the future.

**★★★★★ — SRE Building Associates, Oct. 2016**

> We are always striving to make our clients happy with quality projects that come in on budget and time, We accomplish this by first creating a professional team that consists of an architect, designer, and sub contractors. I have had the pleasure of being teammates with Jeff and John on many projects and the outcome is happy clients.

**★★★★★ — les\_boris, Oct. 2016**

> We have used Martin Manley Architects, Jeff Manley in particular, on seven custom home projects within the past 5 years. Jeff has created beautiful and practical home designs for our projects. He is able to effectively work within a budget, and is cost conscious. He is very creative, detail oriented, and strives for perfection. Jeff has been involved in every aspect of our builds, from planning, permit and variance work; home design and floor plans; interior architectural design; and material selection. Jeff is easy to work with and attentive to his customers. We think very highly of Jeff, as evidenced by our history of bringing him on to our various projects.

**★★★★★ — Leanna Harris, Oct. 2016**

> We hired John Martin to help us with an addition and remodel on our home in Vail, Colorado. John brings interesting ideas to the table, and is always thoughtful about making tweaks and considering options in order to arrive at a beautiful and high quality product.

**★★★★★ — Bob Dell, Oct. 2016**

> I've had several years of experience in dealing with Architects and Builders. Martin Manley Architects are at the very top of my list of favorite Architects! They were very attentive to my needs and actually listened to my needs! If you want your project done on time and on budget, MM Architects are the top pros in the Vail Valley. I will be using Jeff and John for all of my projects in the future!

**★★★★★ — Doug Lockhart, Oct. 2016**

> As a general contractor, with over 40 yrs experience, I have worked with a lot of Architects and found John Martin very creative, extremely capable, talented and a pleasure to communicate with. I highly recommend him as your architect and consultant. His fees were very reasonable.

**★★★★★ — Steve McKeever, Oct. 2016**

> We worked with John Martin who I would use again and highly recommend. His mountain modern architectural design is beautiful, elegant and eye catching. We have been told by many in our neighborhood that our house is the best design built to date. Moreover, John is creative and patient. Any elements that we were not completely excited about went back to his drawing board. He was determined to work through design questions until we were completely satisfied. I love his work and enjoyed working with him as a person and architect.

**★★★★★ — Joe Sundquist, Oct. 2016**

> John is a very talented architect. If I'm ever asked about a recommendation for an architect in the Vail valley, he's at the top of my list.

**★★★★★ — ahalminski, Oct. 2013**

> I am a general contractor that recently worked with John Martin on a residential remodel. John brought an open and creative mind to the project, which allowed an "out of the box" approach to achieve the owners design goals. The remodel was extensive and challenging, as they typically are. Martin and Manley responded well to questions and the surprises we found along the way. Great asset to the team!

**★★★★★ — tlabine, Sept. 2013**

> I anticipate working with Martin Manley Architects on one or more projects in the near future. Their excellent architecture, team approach, consummate professionalism, great reputation, and their friendly demeanor's have me eager on becoming a member of one their projects!
> Todd Labine/ Labine Builders, Inc.

**★★★★★ — dsalvin, Sept. 2013**

> Martin Manley Architects were the architects on a major remodel project I recently completed. I was not experienced in remodeling or construction. John Martin provided excellent guidance, creative and functional design services, and a careful attention to cost management. He was also very responsive to phone calls and questions and was a pleasure to work with. I am confident giving him my highest rating.

**★★★★★ — samecker, Sept. 2013**

> Being a Professional Land Surveyor with over 26 years experience in the area I have had the opportunity to be involved with countless residential construction projects. Every project site has its challenges as well as opportunities to create the right harmony between the landscape and the structure built upon it. The residences I've seen designed by Martin Manley Architects do just that. Not only are they designed to fit the site as naturally as possible, the floor plan flows well too and takes advantage of the views and surroundings. I would highly recommend this company to someone who is looking for a quality firm that will design to fit their needs.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Beautiful home! What kind of wood/stain are you using?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’d really love to know the stone/wood/stain combo on the exterior.

A: the wood finish is a custom color and process by a local siding provider. www.VintageWoodsUS.com

**Q: what type of glass is used in the cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of glass is used in the cabinets?

A: The glass is a dark glass that has some reflective qualities. that is to work with the rustic mirror backsplash. these elements work together brightened the kitchen

**Q: what color stone is this** *(in Photo Questions)*

What color and brand stone is this?

A: The stone is Cottonwood from GallegosCorp.com Their yard is in Gypsum Colorado
970-524-4322. This is a stone.

**Q: Can I use your image on my blog page? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can I use your image on my blog page? Thanks

A: Photography is copywritten by the photographer and with Martin Manley Architects. It is agreed that all publication beyond what we have submitted be limited.

**Q: WOW TO EVERYTHING!!!** *(in Photo Questions)*

I cannot believe there are no questions. First, let me offer my many compliments on this design. Its stunning ! Whatever info you can give me. I just bought a home and it needs full reno. I am going to do all I can to match EVERYTHING you have in here. May I email you? caecrashpad@gmail.com if you can.
Can you tell me style, color, make and where I can buy each of the following:
1\) Wall paint
2\) Stair treads
3\) Window trim stain
4\) Overhead bridge stain
5\) upstairs ceiling stain
6\) Where can I buy that flooring and what all is it?
7\) Stone on the wall
8\) Is that black paint and where, who , name of color etc?
Thank you kindly in advance for your assistance. I am willing to pay for an hour of your time to answer if that is allowed. :) being as how I am in GA.

A: You should talk with a local architect and contractor. The stone has various names depending on what region you are in. The stair is a custom fab. steel spine with treads made of wood flooring material...You should look at viewrail.com for a system to purchase for a similar look. The bridge edge is clad with hot rolled steel panels. Hiring a professional designer and a contractor will help you through the process. They may even get better pricing than you because they will be building/specifying for another house in the near future, and a home owner is one and done. Hope that helps.
Jeffrey P Manley AIA

**Q: loving the dining set! can you share details?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the table leg style especially

A: I do not know the manufacture of the table. You might be able to contact the interior designer, Sarah Carr
