> I had the pleasure of working with Catherine Heir of DEA Designs in 2015. I contacted DEA Design after I had received a few kitchen redesign proposals from kitchen design contractors and was unimpressed with their lackluster suggestions. My neighbor had used DEA Design and was extremely pleased with their work and I also loved their kitchen after it was completed so I contacted them.
> Catherine Heir of DEA Design took time to understand our lifestyle and how we used our kitchen and great room and returned with three very solid design options, two were keeping within the budget we had established. The third she did was a complete departure from the other two. She did this to show us what could be done with our first floor layout and flow and would actually make our kitchen space larger, giving us space for a pantry, double oven, more overall counter space and a very large island. Even though it was more expensive, we were so impressed with the concept, we decided to go with it and we are extremely happy with the final result.
> We received a beautiful final blueprint for a modest price, which was later credited to our cabinets.
> We used a contractor that she often works with on kitchen and bath remodels because we did not have one. He was outstanding to work with and she took care of most of the communication to ensure that the design was executed to perfection.
> During the project, she worked closely with me to help us select the right cabinets, counter-tops, backsplash, light fixtures, appliances and fixtures. Since this was a remodel of our first floor space, we painted the whole first floor and refinished the floors and she helped me select colors and stains. We also decided to buy new furniture for our great room and she helped me with that as well.
> As part of the final finished product, an organization plan was provided to guide me in storing all of our kitchen items. It was for each individual cabinet and drawer.
> I highly recommend DEA Designs for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We were planning to also do a remodel of our master bathroom (which they provided initial design options for), but we decided to postpone that project for now. When we do move forward, we will definitely be using DEA Design!
