> Around 2007-2008 I had Mr. Moore design a 500 sq. ft.  addition on my house, The addition was for two more bedrooms and a bath, for my two daughters.  Mr. Moore's design was awesome and the addition turned out beautiful. He designed it to have a Jack and Jill bath and I gotta tell you we couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. ## Community Q&A

**Q: I do not like the exterior of my house** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I would like to do something over the brick, and also, do something with the middle section.

A: I agree about painting the garage doors to match the siding and refacing the middle section. However, to me, the front entrance needs attention as well.

I would suggest an arbor to frame this area. See my Idea Book ' Arbors'.

**Q: Curb Appeal** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We bought a house a few months ago and it needs some help on the curb appeal side of things.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Landscaping is not my passion perse.

A: I agree with DMH DESIGN, but would suggest using a gable instead of rising the pitch of the existing hip. If your footprint will allow it, I would extend this gable to create the arched opening DJSquire Designs suggested. By all means, change the front door.

**Q: Remodel still missing Something!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We converted our garage into a family room. Now the front of the house looks terrible! This remodel is still in need of something.... please advise!!

This is the front of our house.  Lots of flagstone and concrete.  We don't know where to start, but we do know we want color.  Any ideas welcome.
