They let us select absolutely anything we wanted from any supplier and installed it at no cost - they didnt try to make extra profit based in our selections as some builders do. Also, they were very responsive through the whole process, meeting with us, giving advice, and making it easy. (I was living in a different state while building the house, so I appreciate this.) They let us change anything we wanted in the house. They didnt charge us at all for small changes, and when we did make larger changes that would add cost, they always set a fair price that we agreed on. (For example, after grading our daylight lot, we had the option to change from a daylight to a walkout, and we did--at minimal cost.). Then in 2016 due to my work schedule we were able to design the majority of our house (picking out materials, internal design etc...) prior to even breaking ground. That flexibility allowed for such a positive experience and as close to stress free build as I could have ever dreamed. I've heard many horror stories on a build, but taking our time and having Sierra Homes guide my wife and I along was such a stress relief. On the days picking out materials and not knowing where to start the guidance provided to help our vision come to life was fantastic.
