Creating fresh, inspiring spaces that bring her clients' visions to life is at the heart of Cheryl Underwood's passion for remodeling and design.

Cheryl has always been drawn to art and design, and her passion for creating inspired spaces was fully ignited early in her relationship with her now-husband, Scott Underwood (former lead drummer of Train), when she took the reigns on remodeling Scott’s prior home. This experience revealed an innate gift for design led by instinct—a natural ability to create fresh, light spaces that caught the attention of renowned home designer, Anthony Tinghitella, who soon became her design mentor as she delved into the industry full time.

When you first catch a glimpse of her work, you’ll sense her careful attention to each of the elements that transform a space into something exceptional—her sophisticated minimalism, the balance of colors and textures, the airy, natural elements that are characteristic of her style. You’ll also notice her focus on functionality, shaped by Cheryl’s own down-to-earth nature and an understanding that homes are made for energetic living (which, as a mother of five, Cheryl experiences firsthand!).

Today, Cheryl’s philosophy is informed by the same clean, refreshing aesthetic, a Zen-like balance of natural elements paired with her detailed and intuitive eye for holistic design. She loves helping her clients feel they’ve arrived at an entirely new, invigorating space from the moment they step into their redesigned home, providing them with a sense of calm, relaxation and wholeness.

Cheryl is skillfully designing and remodeling properties throughout Southern California, Nashville, and nationwide, and she’d love to chat with you about bringing your vision for your home to life.

> We are very grateful that we found Cher. My husband and I had a vision on our dream backyard but we couldn't quite piece it all together, we were frustrated and worried we wouldn't be able to bring that vision to life. We found Cher and she completely understood our vision mixed with her expertise, great style and attention to detail we were able to finally bring our project to life. She has made it so simple for us and took away the headaches that come with construction! We highly recommend working with Cher and her team.

> I have been working in the construction industry for 16 years.
> There are only a few people that I can say I'm as grateful to have met as I can say about Cher.
> She is a talented designer with a vision and commitment to her clients, But more than that she is a special person, She is kind honest, and always puts her clients first. Her ability to capture her client's tastes and needs and transform it into reality is second to none.
> Give her a call you won't regret it.

> I have worked with Cher on several design projects as the builder and besides her lovely demeanor, I truly admire her talent, work ethic and design capabilities. Cher and her team are extremely easy to work with and well organized. It is rare to find a designer or design firm that hold all of these qualities. I highly recommend Cher House and I can say with confidence that her clients are very happy.

> My wife and I are currently still into our major home remodel on our 1950s ranch house out in Orange County with Cher. We were in the market of looking into purchasing a new home but anywhere would not be home as where we are now. This home has been in my family for years; when they immigrated to California back in the 70s from the Philippines. From my grandparents to my son, 4 generations lived in this home. It had minor updates and repaired through the years. This is our first major remodel and Cher is great to work with. The house is getting a total update from new floors, new kitchen, windows, closet, bathrooms, plumbing, electrical and exterior updates. She helped guide us on designs and color schemes. She pointed us to the right directions when it came to materials and ideas.Though Covid-19 pushed back our build time, but once permits were approved, build started to move faster and getting closer to completion. Cher has been a pleasure to work with, and very approachable. She was very pleasant and answered any concerns or questions we had. Cher also gave us great feedback when deciding on colors and layouts. She oversees everything and she addresses any surprises that came up, and helped us resolve any issues. We can’t wait until the house is complete. So far everything is looking wonderful and coming together. I highly recommend Cher to a family who are undergoing their first major remodel.

> My husband and I were hesitant going into a home renovation for the first time. But working with Cheryl made the process easy and worry free. Cheryl basically took care of everything from design to completion, so my husband and I can focus on our family and work. Cheryl is professional, very talented and gave us the guidance and reassurance we needed to get through our renovation during the pandemic. We were able to complete our whole home renovation within 4 months and it came out beautifully. We are so grateful for all her hard work and dedication to making our home beautiful and better than we had ever imagined!

> I have worked with many amazing designers in the past but never seen anyone who visits the site every single day like Cher does.
> I highly recommend her for your next project, Meet her and see for yourself.
