Your house is more than just walls and a roof. It's home. It's the place you wake up every morning, and the place you can't wait to get to every night. It's the backdrop for all your favorite memories, and it holds the sound of all your favorite voices. And while it's a substantial investment financially, we believe it's an even bigger investment personally. Building a custom home is significant. Partner with a builder you can trust.

Many builders describe themselves as custom homebuilders, but few truly are. With Peak, not only do you get superior craftsmanship and unmatched customer service, but also an entire team of experts dedicated to bringing your vision to life. We understand that sometimes "standard" doesn't work; that's why we make it a rule never to force-fit our clients into ready-made plans and specifications. We maintain flexibility throughout the entire building process to allow for changes, because we understand that a lot happens between blueprints and final construction. Each home we build is as unique as its owner.

> We had an exceptional experience with Peak Builders and Matt Gruber during the construction of our custom home. It's been almost 10 years since we built our custom home. We have had only normal maintenance issues in 10 years. From start to finish, the process was smooth and positive, thanks to their reliable subcontractors who consistently delivered high-quality work. The house itself is a testament to their craftsmanship—solidly built with impressive attention to detail, including extra structural bracing and support that gives us peace of mind for years to come. The timeline was equally impressive; Peak Builders completed our home in just 10.5 months, staying on track without sacrificing quality. While no custom home is perfect, ours came remarkably close, meeting nearly all our expectations. One of the standout aspects was their willingness to customize. They happily accommodated our requests for unique features like spray foam insulation and a geothermal system, working closely with us to bring our vision to life. I highly recommend Peak Builders for anyone seeking a well-constructed, custom home built with care and professionalism.

> We had the misfortune of hiring Peak Builders LLC to build a custom home for us a few years ago. One-star isn’t even close to what we would like to leave as a review. In our opinion, the worst thing about our experience was how easily and how often we were lied to. Throughout our build, Peak frequently substituted for cheaper items, cut corners on basic building practices like applying primer before painting (some pictures of the comically bad finishes are attached), manipulated change orders, and fabricated numerous charges (well into six figures!!!). We didn’t even get the contracted cabinets in multiple locations, including our kitchen. Since our build, we’ve interacted with three other families who built with Peak in a similar time frame. All ended up having to obtain the services of an attorney and all had incredibly negative experiences like we did. Even on mind boggling things like having space unfinished that was contracted and paid to be finished. Honestly, how is something like that even possible?
>
> In our case, we were especially frustrated with our systems, where Peak wouldn’t even give us the names of the subcontractors who installed them. We had to locate and hire new contractors to repair our HVAC, generator, and water heaters. We did not feel safe in our house. Not because of pathetic items like missing insulation, shutters that fell apart due to improper installation, a six inch hole in our roof, or the fact that water would pour in through doors when it rained (yes, that really happened), but because of dangerous items like potential issues with carbon monoxide poisoning due to subpar workmanship on our systems. And if you’re thinking that is what carbon monoxide detectors are for, Peak didn’t even install those in accordance with our contract. In our opinion, hiring Peak to build a custom home is quite literally the worst decision you could ever make. Not just because of the cost in dollars, but because of the cost to your sanity and the potential cost to your family’s health and well-being. To be frank, we don’t understand how Peak is even allowed to hold a contractor’s license.

> We met Matt Gruber early on in the process of selecting our lot, and we knew at that moment that he was the right "fit" for us. There's no other way to say it: Matt gets it. He worked with us to build our dream home, and was with us (and on the same page) every step of the way. Peak checked all the boxes for us. We've since recommended Peak over and over, and have even used Peak for a separate garage project. Both have been fantastic experiences--with even better end products/results.

**★★★★★ — Ginger Lounge, March 2017**

> We couldn't be happier with the home Peak designed and built for us. This wasn't our first custom home, so we have a point of comparison. Matt and Summer Gruber and the team they have assembled, are terrific. Anyone who has built a home knows that you want your builder to tell you the truth; do what they say they're going to do when they said they would do it; complete the project in a timely manner and on budget; take responsibility for their mistakes (everyone makes mistakes, people); and, address any post-closing problems, if there are any. Matt and Summer and their very capable team do all this, because they are good and smart and hard-working. On top of all that, and that's a lot, they build the most beautiful, well-crafted homes. AND they are the nicest people!

> Peak Builders has built 3 custom homes for me! With Matt and his crew, you will get exactly what you want, from design concept to finish. They are professional, knowledgeable, and do quality work. Plus, Matt is easy to get along with, which is a plus considering you will be communicating regularly over an 8-9 month period.
