> The Kitchen Guild / Bath Express redid our main floor bathroom in April, 2012.
> We are in the process of remedial work to repair a a very slow toilet leak that resulted from inferior work on the initial installation. The toilet flange was plastic on cast iron pipe. The flange was supposed to be supported to a woof floor frame. It was not leaving the flange to move causing a leak in the seal. The whole job had small problems that had to be corrected because of mistakes made by the original installer.
> Such as installing the vanity too close to the toilet. Not moving the light fixtures to center on the new vanity. Not installing a ceiling fan that was paid for then told it could not be done because of space. We had it done a year later.
> Between fixing the original leak, black mold containment and removal, our cost is around $2000. The cost for patching the basement ceiling is to be determined. Probably another $200-400.
> Overall job rating - very poor!

> Our master bath remodel was a total success thanks to the kind professionals at Bath Express in Fairfax, Virginia. From the moment we met the President, Jim McCoy, and Vice President and Operations Manager, Mary Jo McCoy, we were completely comfortable and confident that the entire project would be not only satisfactory, but superlative in every respect...and we were not disappointed! Jim and Mary Jo answered all our initial questions and patiently accommodated our requests for minor changes in the design and materials. Once the project began, the workmen were likewise most courteous and respectful of our home, our privacy and our time. They performed their tasks quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after themselves at every turn, and responded immediately to our questions and concerns. Mary Jo was most gracious in following up on one minor equipment malfunction and made sure the faulty part was ordered, delivered and installed in short order. We are enormously impressed with the professionalism and 'can do' attitude of Bath Express Fairfax...from the leadership to the workmen and support contractors, they are all committed to excellence. Hats off to the McCoys and their exceptional team!

> We had a fantastic experience with Bath Express. From our initial interest in remodeling our master bathroom, Jim andMary Jo McCoy, and the their team, were first rate. Jim gave us five remodeling concepts to work with and once we had pick done, worked with on on producing a classy bathroom at a reasonable price. The actual carpentry, plumbing, tile, and drywall work was exceptional, and done on time. Jim and Mary Jo were accessible and responsive throughout the 3 week process. I highly recommend Bath Express. Without reservation should we decide to remodel any of our other bathrooms we will definitely go with Bath Express.

> This was a complete kitchen remodel project for a condominium apartment. The result was beautiful and the price was very reasonable. This was a renovation for preparing to sell the apartment, so cost was especially important. Very professional.

> I am very happy with how my kitchen turned out. From the beginning they were very responsive. They stuck to the schedule (which was very important to me), everyone I dealt with was very responsive, and the work was first rate.

> Kitchen Guild designed and installed a kitchen for me in 2013. I was incredibly impressed with their talent to work with difficult spaces. They were polite and prompt and followed through with every detail. The results were spectacular and the price was correct.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Would you provide the model \# of the fridge and the color of granite?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Sure! The fridge is a Thermador KBUDT4865E 48" Built-in Side-by-side. The countertop is Giallo Ornamental granite with an ogee edge treatment. I hope this helps and thanks for viewing our projects.

**Q: cabinets are same color as mine** *(in Photo Questions)*

whats the best wall color and best wood floor combination. Looks like cabinets shown are auburn maple kind of color

A: No...this particular kitchen is not Shaker Beige. Regarding the soffit, we usually don't paint it a different color. We like to remove soffits where possible and practical and install wall cabinets that go to the ceiling. When this is not practical, we try to cover the soffits with wood that matches the cabinetry which gives the appearance of taller cabinets.
