> I wouldn't buy a dog coup from standard pacific. We have spent over 30k just on multiple slab leaks. Not counting the ruined kitchen , carpeting and other damage. The workmenship was beyond poor.

> Standard Pacific began construction on my home almost 3 years ago.  I was always met with friendly, professional and consistent staff.  I was able to sit down with one of their employees and tailor the details of the house I wanted.  This was my first home buying experience and they made it a pretty simple process.  There were a few instances I was not particularly happy about one of which was the late move-in date, which I completely understand.  They did a one-year walk through to make any necessary repairs.  The person put in charge of the walk through was not a good communicator and as a consequence the day of the repairs, no one showed up and I wasted the later half of a work day waiting.  I went around him and contacted another Standard Pacific employee who was very helpful and followed through on scheduling and making sure repairs were made.  I love my home, and I am happy overall with my experience with Standard Pacific.
