> I worked with Butch as the architect on an ocean-front home in Carmel.  This project was a bespoke renovation to a historic ocean-front home.  His skill and craftsmanship are undeniable and will be easy for anyone to see.  However, what others can't see from the photographs is his problem solving ability.  We attempted numerous details that involved the highest levels skill.  Often, it was his ingenuity and design sense that allowed the precision detail to come together with ease.  Butch will excel at any building project, but to truly get his full value, give him your most exacting details and challenging building ideas.

> As a designer, I've worked with many contractors but not too many that I can speak so highly of. Working with Butch was great in so many ways. He's easy to work with, hardworking, and has an impeccable eye for details. Cutting corners is never an option for him and that is something that we sincerely admire. Our office is based in LA which limited our ability to be on site as often as we would like, but it was reassuring to know that he was there making sure the quality of every installation in the house, not just his work, was ever compromised. A true team player.
