> My husband and I were seeking advice on how to add onto our house as well as make the current layout of the house more efficient.  We have a small gambrel cape style home, and five small children.  We needed to improve all areas of the house, and make it adaptable as the kids grow.  We were so fortunate to have found Heather at Designs by Marshall.  From our first meeting Heather provided ideas to make simple immediate changes, and by the end of the process we had beautiful plans to improve the house as well as add on a master bedroom.  Heather not only provided a thorough, professional design that incorporated everything we asked for, she was also great to work with.  Heather was so kind and genuine, as well as patient with our questions, children and dog!  We highly recommend Heather at Designs by Marshall.

> My husband and I just moved into our townhouse and started to work with contractors regarding a redesign of our master bathroom, closets and laundry area. When talking to the contractors they weren't sure how to accomplish all the we wanted to do and one of them  suggested that we hire an architect. We're so glad that someone suggested Heather from MDesigns. She was great! She's very professional and personable.  As soon as we started to explain what we had in mind she knew exactly what we were looking to do. She also had some suggestions that I didn't think of for example leaving the washer and dryer in the hall (instead of putting it in the master bathroom) and using barn doors as a decorative feature for the closet.
